A Dream Dreamt

Aligning with your vision

I have this dream

That my mind would flow like the trees

Still standing in place when the wind blows

The rain pours

And the sun shines

Unbothered by what comes in their path

So I long for my mind to do the same.

I have this dream

Knowing distractions will come

And problems will arise

But ill stand like a tree.

I have this dream

To connect my mind with my vision

Like roots of a tree connect with the soil

Fusing their different functions

Providing each other with riches

Improving the quality of life for one another.

I have this dream

One day my mind will take root in my vision

Freely living out my calling.

But the thing about dreams is

You have to wake up

Wake up and work towards making that dream a reality

And never quit until walking in the dream dreamt.
